In a new Netflix documentary ready to release on August 14th, Amber Frey speaks about her affair with now convicted Scott Peterson. Peterson is serving life in prison for killing his wife Laci Peterson, who was eight months pregnant at the time of murder. The now 49 year old massage therapist from California called the authorities in 2002 shedding light on her affair with Peterson.
Peterson had earlier lied to Frey, telling her he was a widower. Later he tells her he is still married and expecting a child with his wife Laci. Frey will be releasing details regarding her affair with Peterson after 20 years of silence in this new documentary titled American Nightmare: Laci Peterson.
Secret phone recordings
The documentaey would include private phone call conversations between Frey and Peterson. It is revealed how Peterson saw a future with Frey. Which has led the Police to conclude how affair could be a possible motive. “So what do you want to be together with me?” asks Frey to Peterson in one of these audio clippings. “For the rest of our lives I think we could care for each other,” says Peterson who was still married.
Gruesome and Tragic
Laci Peterson 27, was found missing on the Christmas Eve of 2002. It is reported that Peterson took a shower, washed his clothes and ate a pizza before informing the Police. Peterson also claims he was fishing at Berkeley Marina.Their unborn son Conner’s body was found on April 13th. Laci’s remains were found the next day in the San Francisco bay, only 2 miles away from the marina.
Frey is not the only one bringing in new insight to the case, Laci’s mother Sharon Rocha has also agreed to an interview. This would be the first time she will be sitting down for an interview. Sharon Rocha has, however, talked to the press before. Rocha points out how Peterson was not ready to have children. This, she claims, could be a possible motive for the crime.
Amber Frey has also appeared in in the TV show Amber Frey: Witness for the Prosecution . She was quoted saying,
For most people, it was just a story, but to me it was part of my life, a very painful part
on her involvement with the Scott Peterson case. Netflix’s docu-series would be out on August 14th.
